For example, Thomas Edison conducted thousands of experiments before finally inventing the light bulb. His success was not due to chance, but rather his perseverance and effort over time.

Moreover, even when someone is lucky, that luck often results from being prepared. A person who is ready and willing to seize an opportunity is more likely to benefit from it.
