My Hometown

Hello, everyone! Today, I want to tell you about my hometown. It is a small but beautiful place where I was born and grew up. My hometown is called Qingtian, which means "clear sky." The name fits perfectly because it always has clear blue skies and fresh air.

In my hometown, there is a big park near my house. Every morning, people go there for exercise. Some jog while others walk their dogs or play badminton. During the weekends, families often have picnics under the trees. The park is also a great spot for children like me to fly kites when the wind blows gently.

Another special part of my hometown is the river that runs through it. The water is so clean that you can see fish swimming happily below the surface. In summer, we love to sit by the riverbank and enjoy the cool breeze. Sometimes, we even take little boats out into the middle of the stream. It feels like being on a small adventure!

The people in my hometown are very friendly. If you ask anyone for directions, they will smile warmly and explain patiently. Even if they don’t know the exact answer, they will try their best to help you find your way. This kindness makes me proud to call this place home.
